The above photo shows a mahogany
chest of drawers that is in so much need of restoration
one can hardly identify the type of wood. Veneer is
releasing on the drawers and case, drawer bottoms are
loose, drawers will not slide because runners and slides
are grooved and broken, one leg is broken off, the back
came apart, numerous repair had been incorrectly
performed over the years and the finish is totally
deteriorated. Afterwards we had another happy
customer.

One of the original drawers.
|
The drawer we made to match.
|
This drawer was lost in an interstate house move.
We made the drawer, hardware and stained it to match. It
was so perfect the owner could not tell the difference
between the old and the new.

The arm on this OS chair was
chewed off by a dog. We made a mold from another area on
the chair seat. After touch up the medallion on the arm
was replaced. It was a perfect match.
The second group of photos is from a published
article in Professional Refinishing Magazine. This
article was written to show the process of how to mold a
missing piece of trim on a nightstand.
